Zbyněk Michálek (born December 23, 1982 in Jindřichův Hradec) is a Czech professional ice hockey player and an alternate captain of the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League (NHL). Michálek was not drafted in the NHL Entry Draft. He plays for the Phoenix Coyotes of the NHL and has also played for the Minnesota Wild. He was acquired by the Coyotes from Minnesota for Erik Westrum and Dustin Wood on August 26, 2005.
