Timothy Stephen Wakefield (born August 2, 1966 in Melbourne, Florida) is a right-handed knuckleball pitcher in Major League Baseball who has played with the Boston Red Sox since 1995, making him the longest-serving member of the team. His longevity and consistency have helped him become one of the top pitchers in Red Sox history.
