In the Spring of 2011, I predicted that the Dodgers would win the NL West – that didn’t happen and since then many fans have really been down on the Dodgers, some even predicting last place finishes in 2011 and 2012.   I have no doubt t...

I guess we have a new closer – Elbert is an animal!  If James Loney can hit just a little, he’ll save a lot of games at 1B. One of the main reasons the Dodgers are doing as well as they are is the infield defense.  Even with Gordon̵...

By now, you all should know that Clayton Kershaw doesn’t pitch well at Coors’ Field.  His ERA is 5.85 there.  Not so impressive. In case you haven’t heard, Vin Scully calls Clayton’s curveball “public enemy number one.

403 foot HR by Dee Gordon?  He has evidently been eating his Wheaties.  What a Beast!  Let’s just hope he doesn’t start trying to do that…. I don’t put too much stock in the fact that Lindblom and Jansen got rocked a little...

8Apr2012

BOXSCORE What I mean by that is that the Offensive Stars in each of the three games this season have been different.  Opening day it was Matt Kemp.  In game two it was the former Mr. Softee, Andre Ethier, and last night it was AJ and the kid (Dee G...

Just My Opinion

20Jan2012

I want you to consider a few questions and how you would have answered them on January 20, 2010: If I had told you that James Loney would hit more home runs than Andre Ethier in 2010,  would you have probably felt pretty good about the 2010 season?
