Ryan Alexander Gordon Smyth (born February 21, 1976 in Banff, Alberta) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who currently plays for the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League. Smyth was selected 6th overall in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft by the Edmonton Oilers, and he went on to play 12 seasons for the club he idolized as a child. Smyth played 3 games for the Oilers in the 1994–95 season.
