Raúl Javier Ibáñez (pronounced /ɨˈbɑːnjɛz/) (born June 2, 1972, in New York, New York) is a Cuban-American Major League Baseball outfielder for the Philadelphia Phillies. Over his career, Ibáñez, who did not make 500 plate appearances until the age of 30, has batted .285 with 309 doubles, 216 home runs and 887 runs batted in (RBI) over 14 Major League seasons.
