Kevin Shattenkirk (born January 29, 1989 in New Rochelle, New York, U.S.) is an American ice hockey player currently with Boston University as a prospect of the Colorado Avalanche. Shattenkirk was drafted 14th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Avalanche. He started his hockey career with the New Jersey Devils Youth Hockey Organization.
