Kameron Darnel "Kam" Chancellor (born April 3, 1988) is an American football safety for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Seahawks in the 5th round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played college football at Virginia Tech. Chancellor was born on April 3, 1988 in Norfolk, Virginia to Karen Lambert. He attended Matthew Fontaine Maury High School where he played basketball and football as a quarterback and safety. As a senior in 2006, he recorded more than 2,000 passing yards and 500 rushing yards and led his team to a 10–2 record and an appearance in the Group AAA Division 5 playoffs.
