By: Redbird Rants

21May2012

It was a terrible week for the Good Guys.  Yep, our beloved Redbirds really stank up the joint. The starting pitching has been faltering, as has the bullpen.  The much vaunted defense at times looked like the Keystone Cops.  The offense has...

Playing Like The Devil In The City Of Angels

By: C70 At The Bat

21May2012

I'm sure there was something good about the Cardinals trip to Los Angeles this weekend.  However, it might have been limited to hearing Vin Scully on the call because, otherwise, this was like checking into Hotel California--as much as they...

Lance Lynn was once again excellent in five innings of shutout ball en route to his Major League leading sixth win of the season. He had little trouble getting offensive backing from his teammates who launched a total of five home runs in a 9-6 Cardi...

By: C70 At The Bat

7May2012

I'd say that I took a personal vow not to write again until the Cards won a game, but we all know better than that.  A rough patch for the Cards did clear up yesterday, which makes getting back...
