Ivan Manuel Nova (born January 12, 1987) is a Major League Baseball pitcher who plays for the New York Yankees. Nova was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Yankees. He played in the Yankees farm system, including stints with the GCL Yankees, Charleston RiverDogs, and Tampa Yankees. In December 2008, Nova was selected by the San Diego Padres in the Rule 5 draft. However, he was returned to the Yankees at the end of the 2009 spring training. Following the 2009 season, Nova was added to the 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft.
