DeMarcus Cousins (born August 13, 1990) is an American basketball player. Cousins is a 6'11", 270 lb power forward/center from Mobile, Alabama, United States. He is a freshman at the University of Kentucky. Cousins was named to the 2009 McDonald's All-American Team where he scored 14 points and had 8 rebounds. Cousins also played in the 2009 Nike Hoop Summit at the Rose Garden in Portland and the Jordan Brand Classic at Madison Square Garden where he scored 10 points for the black team.
