By: This Is Getting Old

18May2013

Snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.  Not something we Pirates fans are used to.  Did the Pirates win or did the E-stros lose? Regardless a win is a win and I still want my sweep. Who better to send out there for Game 2 than A.J. Burnett?  I...

E-stros help Bucs walk it off

By: This Is Getting Old

17May2013

Maybe a win against the Astros should have been easier and faster, but in the end the Astros handed it over.  An error allowed the Pirates to win, 5-4.  It was a weird game all around, one that saw Brandon Inge play 1st base and a homerun into the...

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Philadelphia Phillies – Game 22

By: This Is Getting Old

13Apr2013

Currently Clint Barmes is hitting .111/.143/.185.  Our other shortstop is a guy named John McDonald.  McDonald is basically a defensive replacement.  He has just six plate appearances.  John McDonald is hitting. 000.  He’s always  been pr...
