Bartolo Colón (born May 24, 1973 in Altamira, Dominican Republic) is a Major League Baseball starting pitcher who is currently a free agent. He won the American League Cy Young Award with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in 2005. A prospect from the Dominican Republic, Colón was signed by the Cleveland Indians as a free agent in 1993 and made his major league debut at the Anaheim Angels on April 4, 1997, receiving a no decision.
