Austin Darren Daye (born June 5, 1988) is an American professional basketball player from Irvine, California. He was drafted 15th overall in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Daye follows in the footsteps of his father, Darren Daye, who played several seasons in the NBA.
