Anthony Stewart

Anthony Stewart (born January 5, 1985 in LaSalle, Quebec) is a professional ice hockey player currently playing for the Atlanta Thrashers of the National Hockey League. Anthony's younger brother Chris plays for the Colorado Avalanche. Stewart was drafted by the Panthers in the first round, 25th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft from the Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League. On October 18, 2005, Stewart made his NHL debut with the Panthers and recorded his first career point, an assist, on a Serge Payer goal against New Jersey goalie Martin Brodeur. Two days later on October 20, 2005, Stewart recorded his first career NHL goal against Washington goalie Olaf Kölzig.
