Allen Ezail Iverson (born June 7, 1975, in Hampton, Virginia) is an American professional basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers, whom he rejoined in December 2009 after the team traded him to the Denver Nuggets in December 2006. The 76ers selected Iverson with the number one pick in the 1996 NBA Draft. He was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 1996–97 season.
