Alex Pietrangelo (born January 18, 1990) is a Canadian junior ice hockey defenceman with the Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Pietrangelo grew up in King City, Ontario, and played his minor hockey for the Richmond Hill Stars, Vaughan Kings and Toronto Jr. Canadiens. He was a member of the Vaughan Kings All-Ontario Peewee Championship team in 2003 and the Toronto Jr. Canadiens All-Ontario Bantam Championship team in 2005. He also played high school hockey for St. Thomas of Villanova College - a private school based in King City.
